Hello 1st grade families,
Please read the announcements and reminders below:
HOMEWORK FOLDERS SENT HOME TODAY:
Students took home their homework folders for the first time today. Here is a video tour of what is included in the folder. Please let me know if you have any questions.
BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT - WED. 8/31 - 6:30 - 8:00 PM
Our Back to School Night will be held on Wednesday, August 31st from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. Please join us to learn about our classroom, the first grade curriculum, and volunteer opportunities at LCE. I look forward to seeing you there!
COLLABORATION DAY - FRI. 9/2 - 11:35 AM DISMISSAL:
Our first collaboration day of the year will be held on Friday, September 2nd. All students should arrive at LCE by 8:10 AM and will be dismissed at 11:35 AM. Please be sure that your child knows how they will be picked up on that date. The first grade teachers will be meeting across the 3 elementary sites to discuss assessments, debrief on the Fountas & Pinnell testing, and take a look at the ESGI assessment system.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
Thanks,
Mrs. Boayes
